Montreal GP

Tue Jun 12 20:29:20 2007 EDT (-0400 GMT)

This year was the first year in a while that I didn’t go to the Montreal GP (too much going on these days), but it was a great race. My congratulations go to British rookie sensation and pole-to-flag winner, Lewis Hamilton.

The race had a record four pace cars and all kinds of action in between. The biggest incident was this crash by Robert Kubica, an other great rookie driver who actually replaced Villeneuve. I remember last year Kubica set the fastest time during the Friday practice. It’s good to hear that Kubica got away with only a small concussion and sprained ankle after this
